The AC100 Race Book is the official reference guide and record of the Angeles Crest 100-Mile Endurance Run. The 2008 book will be available here by July '08 at the latest. The 2007 book has undergone extensive editing. You'll also read about the the wildfire cancellation of 2002, and the storms of 2004-2005. The 2007 AC100 RaceBook pdf is here. The basic information regarding course, procedures, and topography remain fairly constant. Only the roadbeds shift. For those who are only interested in splits & cut off times: Highway 2 is blocked just west of Vincent Gap, and currently there is no access to islip Saddle. This detour map shows you what's happening as of May '07. Shows the range of splits and cuf-offs that define the race. And if you make it to the Finish Line 30 seconds late…don't blame the crew and pacer. The entire 62pp book is a tidy 6mb pdf chunkette. You can enjoy your free copy at Adobe Acrobat Reader - Download. The book is designed to be read by you under the dome light of a rental car in the middle of the night, or by your hapless crew. The 2007 Race Book has all the updates you've come to know and love; in particular the Split Chart. This will show you, the eager runner, how little time you really have to load off in aid-stations. Your photos are always welcome. The preferred format are clear hi-resolution digital images with accompanying captions describing who, what and where. No low-resolution files please. Rule of thumb: if it looks bad, don't send it.
